Mr. Maniccia's Grade 9 Mathematical students did an amazing job on their projects. Topics included basic operations, budgets, time, and measurement. This exhibition was open to everyone at the school and students presented their work with great pride as guests entered the room. Congratulations!

Regent Park Focus Partnership with Eastdale CI
Regent Park Focus Partnership
This semester, Eastdale students in the ENG 1/2L courses got a chance to do
some live studio work at Regent Park Focus. The students worked hard to
create three videos that had to do with countering racism, sexual harassment
and homo/transphobia.
The students created scripts, worked the cameras, worked as a director or as a host and
helped in the sound room. The students were very engaged in the process.
The final published videos are to come! Students also had the opportunity to create
live podcasts in the radio room.
These podcasts will be streamed live when they are published!
Special thanks to the staff at Regent Park Focus,
The TDSB’s Gender-Based Violence Prevention Program, and
Mr. Servos for all of their support with the project.

Eastdale Visits The Toronto Zoo!
On December 13, 2017 , the Wilderness Activity Group took nineteen students to the Toronto Zoo. Braving the cold winds and the wintry air, the group managed to see many animals in the zoo without the crowds! Some favorites were the pandas, the giraffes, the otters, the gorillas and the snakes . We had a great time, we stayed warm, and we learned a lot about many different types of mammals, reptiles, fish and insects. Way to go WAG!
