Once again Eastdale's longstanding partnership with Foodshare will continue this year. We will see the expansion of this partnership with the addition of the Guest Chef program. Every month, a chef from a Toronto restaurant will visit the school and work with students to create a health and delicious meal. Students get to help choose the ingredients and assist the chef in creating some magic in the kitchen. Along the way students learn about the different job opportunities that exist in the restaurant industry. September's session saw the head chef of Burdock Jeremy Dennis visit.
